Jason Erickson
Platform engineering lead. Dad and husband. I write at jasonthink on substack, and I built a meeting-audit toolkit for people whose calendars ate the week.
Work
I lead platform engineering work in a large enterprise. The job is operating platforms at scale: hundreds of Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters, multi-cloud accounts, GitOps, Terraform, service connectivity, patching, and observability. Lately that includes bringing AI agents and AIOps patterns into real operations — not demos.
I’m self-taught, practical, and systems-oriented. I care about what holds up when the environment is messy, political, and constrained.
Writing
jasonthink lives on Substack. The core is Reclaim Time: how meetings steal the week, and what to do about it. I also write about AI, personal organization, platform engineering, and career in IT. One idea per post. Short. Specific.
Toolkit
The Reclaim Time Meeting Audit Toolkit is a 45-minute pass over your calendar. You list the meetings, score them, then cancel, shorten, or delegate the ones that don’t earn the slot. Start with a free one-page mini-audit, or buy the full sheet and guide on Etsy for $19.
